Stirling Agricultural Centre is United Auctions’ headquarters and is wholly owned by the Company. It is centrally located in the heart of Scotland on a 52-acre site on the outskirts of the City of Stirling, just off J10 on the M9 motorway.
The facility comprises three sale rings, 900m2 exhibition hall, viewing gallery, conference facilities and a 100-seater farmers’ restaurant.
Stirling Agricultural Centre has a total letting area of over 50,000 sq ft for office space and rural and outdoor retailing. It boasts some of Scotland’s and the UK’s prominent national agricultural brands and rural companies, including Galbraith, Johnston Carmichael, Ledingham Chalmers, Agricar, Carrs Billington, NFU and Ifor Williams trailer centre.
Continued expansion of the Agricultural Centre has seen significant investment in the local and agricultural economy and allows for the growth of these agri-related businesses, which provide a cluster of essential services to the farming community from one location.
The Centre is home to the world-famous Stirling Bull Sales. Unique to the UK, the event is held annually in February, May and October and is a major agricultural and economic asset. An integral part of the farming calendar, they attract a national and international audience of more than 22,000, boosting the economy of Forth Valley and Scotland during off-peak seasons. The event’s 150th anniversary was marked with a visit from HRH Princess Anne in 2015.
The facility also hosts national and international events such as Stars of the Future, Blackface Sheep National Show and the Stirling International Angling Festival.
