Wether lambs sold to average £36.06 selling to £46 for Park Cheviots from Ms McNeil, 33 Ord Place, Lairg. Hill Cheviots sold to £43 for 326 from M/s Elliot, Balnakeil.
Ewe lambs (1076) averaged £34.52 selling to £50 for Cheviots from Mr G Ross, 186 Migdale, Bonar Bridge.
“A mixed show met a firm demand with ‘like for like’ sheep being dearer by £5-8 per head on the first sale, and exceptionally short of requirements.”
