Stirling Bull Sales

The world-famous Perth Bull Sales were established in 1865.  They now take place at the company's new headquarters at Stirling and in July 2012 were officially renamed as the Stirling Bull Sales to reflect the new location. The pedigree bull sales are held in October, February and May each year. The sales attract thousands of visitors from home and abroad and are an integral part of the farming calendar. The main pedigree breeds comprise Aberdeen-Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Charolais, Simmental, Limousin, British Blue, British Blonde and Salers.  

Sunday to Tuesday 22nd to 24th October - Stirling Bull Sales  Entries now closed
To include the dispersal of the renowned Cheeklaw herd of pedigree Aberdeen-Angus cattle (65 lots)  and dispersal of the long-established Sterling herd of pedigree Simmental cattle (Boddington Estates Ltd) Approx 80 head

Saturday 11th November  - Complete dispersal of the renowned Ribble herd of pedigree Aberdeen-Angus cattle 
The property of Rowntree Farms.  Approx 500 head.  At Skipton Auction Market, North Yorkshire

The sale is the largest of its kind in the breeds history . The herd has a record of high performance underpinned by an excellent health status being a member of the HiHealth Herdcare Scheme and is from a TB 4 area.
Viewing days are planned for the summer at Windy Pike Farm , Gisburn, Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 4HZ.
