David has been part of United Auctions since leaving school in 1975. He is one of the best-known and respected livestock auctioneers and judges in the country. In his role as Executive Chairman he continues to have management responsibility for the company's prestigious pedigree business. He conducts periodic and special breeding sales, including the world-renowned Perth Bull Sales as well as Europe's biggest annual sheep sale at Lairg. He has held various industry positions and in 2005 was awarded an MBE for his services to Scottish Agriculture.
Robin's career in livestock marketing spans 40 years with United Auctions since he started at the company's Stirling market as a trainee auctioneer in 1971. He was appointed Sales Director in 1993 and has held various management positions since then. He successfully steered the company through BSE and FMD. Robin has overall responsibility for the company's sales function and is regarded as one of the premier commercial livestock auctioneers in Scotland.
Neil has worked in livestock marketing for over 25 years since starting as a trainee in 1984. After studying Accountancy and Finance as an undergraduate his career moved quickly into general management. In 1997 he was appointed Administration Director and in 2005 became Group Joint Managing Director. Neil has overall responsibility for the Group's commercial activities. He directed the MBO of the company and was instrumental in the planning and construction of the Stirling Agricultural Centre.
